To meet the sophisticated needs of our clients, we seek students with strong academic credentials, solid writing skills and a willingness to work hard. Because the firm is small and client contact starts at an early stage, we seek associates who also have poise, a positive attitude, and a good sense of humor. We have found that successful practice in our firm requires commitment to the community. Consequently, all applicants should plan ultimately to reside in the Danbury area.
We conduct on-campus interviews at several law schools in the Northeast and solicit resumes from students at other institutions. Applicants should also furnish a transcript and a writing sample.
In addition to highly competitive salaries, we contribute the major portion of the cost of health, life, and disability income insurance for all qualified employees. We also maintain a SIMPLE IRA plan into which eligible employees can direct a portion of their salary during each year. The firm then matches each employee's contribution, up to 3% of gross annual income. The plan is maintained through the highly-regarded Vanguard family of mutual funds.
